In this project, I am looking to build my brand as a graphic designer. The goal of building my brand is to help me build my portfolio and showcase my work in a way that will help my viewers understand my personality and mainly my work style.
Mood board :
To create my logo I started out by making a mood board to help me find the inspiration that I needed and help me stay in line with what I wanted. The images I picked for this mood board inspired me in terms of their style, shape and colours.
Colour palette :
I have created a colour palette to use throughout the website to help me keep it looking cohesive. The colour that I have picked for the palette were picked from the logo, this is so that the colours that are used stay that same throughout.
Sketches :
From the mood board, I got different ideas for my logo so I started sketching them out to see them physically. this helps me see what I like and what I can change to pick the best option.
Final outcome :
After the sketches, I picked my top favourite and refined them in Adobe Illustrator to see them clearly and how they would look finalised. From this set, I picked my top 4 and asked for an outside opinion on which one is preferred.
